The Solid Sound Collective
The Solid Sound Collective will utilize the power of music to build hope and community, examine structural racism and poverty in St. Louis, and uplift the incredible local legacy of resistance to that inequity. Bringing together some of the best local talents, the newly commissioned music of the Solid Sound Collective will be inspired by interviews with activists, elders, and community organizers. The project will culminate in a live concert series in 2024, featuring new music from Anita Jackson, Alicia Revé, Ryan Marquez, Tim Moore, and Colin McLaughlin.
The WebCo48 Project
The WebCo48 Project is a fusion of a 48-Hour Play Festival / Bake-Off inspired by Saturday Night Live. All sketches were written incorporating 'ingredients' donated by students, alumni, and faculty of Webster Conservatory. All sketches were written, rehearsed, filmed, and edited within 48 Hours. Prerecorded on Zoom during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. All proceeds go directly to benefit the Regional Arts Commission Artist Relief Fund and the Black Visions Collective.
